Moonlighting advice.
Hi everyone,
I’m currently serving a 90-day notice period at my present company, and unfortunately, they are not allowing an early release or buyout option. Recently, I received a great offer from another organization, but they require an immediate joiner.
Since I can’t join them immediately, they’ve suggested that I work for them during my notice period as a moonlighter.
Has anyone faced a similar situation? What are the potential risks—legal, professional, or ethical—of doing this? What would be the best way to handle this situation?
Appreciate your thoughts and experiences!

moonlighting during notice is risky bro, esp if ur current co has strict clauses. legally they can act if they find out. best bet? try to get early onboarding from new co post-hours (consulting/contract style) n keep it low-key. but only if ur sure it won’t mess up exits or bgv.

Check your contract before moonlighting as it can get messy legally
