Offer Discussion Troubles !!
Recently I cracked and received an offer , felt shattered !! as I quoted 7.5 CTC to 8.5 CTC prior the hiring process (CCTC 4.26) recruiter quoted its feasible and within their window.
But they gave 5.2 + 1.1 CTC only , would have been mentioned their limit or a discussion before releasing the offer letter, might got a clarity. Instead my desparateness to join was used as their fuel.
There is no callback after I received the offer letter. The transparency, mutual respect, value for experience is not considered.
Best part is I initiated the callback for discussion via mail, which went futile too
They kept it same and mentioned me that there's no room for offer review.
This strategical experience made me left in limbo and demotivated.
Fresher nowadays getting 4.5 lpa .... There is no respect for the experience (3) .!!!
Do anyone faced the same situation and how you guys countered this please give your thoughts ....

You are not alone bro, Its the common practice done by many recruiters
many face the same situation where experience isn’t valued fairly during offer negotiations. You did good that you discussed your part by communicating professionally, But its ok. Move on you will find better opportunity.

Happens to the best of us companies sometimes forget that experience is the real asset. I’d say keep looking, because there’s always a better fit out there.

I was offered 8.5 lpa for Devops+ASM lead position with 3.2 YOE and massive dependency of legacy software experience. That's way to less for what I bring to table but some WITCH orgs are hard set on a cap of CTC wrt experience.... If you want what you quoted to them then look for product based org
