Resign BPO , Should I resign this job and have consistent 3months focus on any new IT subject , does it will be helpful as the market is not good so far for freshers nor bpo candidates , if I will be in the present company , surely I'll be dead and if I give time to myself I can heal , practice and focus I think so , is that good or not ? As bpo has yearly 3-5% hike and where IT atleast have 10% hike , money is the key factor, I am totally confused, can anyone help me up ASAP.

Hi guys,

So my current package is 35L with CTS and I got a full time offer with a good company in Germany and they provide good benefits including international relocation. 
But they offer littler lower range only 90EUR. After humongous tax take home would come around 55L INR PA.

I am little bit confused to accept the offer but this is the best I can get in Germany from India. I have 20 YOE so I dont want to take anymore risk moving to a different job in future. 

Looking for your suggestions whether to move to a  new country where I also need to learn a new language or stay in India.

We all know the hype around working in BIG 4 and other big MnCs. It is considered as a huge achievement in our Indian Society.

But I have also heard that the work culture in these companies is really toxic. Especially after recent suicide cases of employees in McKinsey and EY.

I strongly doubt if one should really aspire to work in these companies.

Anyone here working in these firms who can confirm about the work culture there?

Are McKinsey, EY & Other Big 4 really worth it?

I don’t drink, and I really don’t appreciate being pressured to. I’ve communicated this several times, but some colleagues still don’t seem to respect that.
I’d rather not join these gatherings anymore....not just because of the drinking, but also because the conversations often get uncomfortable when people are drunk.
I’m just looking for a respectful way to set this boundary without making a scene. Any advice?

If you're in IT, you might want to think twice about joining one of those big "Big 4" companies here in India. Sure, the paycheck might look bigger, but get ready to work your tail off.

From what I've seen, these Big 4 places in India often send you to work directly with clients here, and sometimes these clients can really pile on the work. Plus, the projects don't usually last very long, and you'll probably be doing more analyzing and checking things rather than actually building stuff. You might also find yourself traveling to some pretty random places.

Guess what else eats up your time? Writing up those project proposals. 

Big 4s are now doing the ongoing IT support that WITCH companies usually do. Also, a key thing, if you're a manager or want to be one, you'll need to bring in sales, or you could be let go after a couple of years.

So, yeah, just think really carefully before you jump into a Big 4 company. It might not be the best fit for everyone in IT.
