Shame on you, techies!

Recently, a CEO (an IITian, no less) shared something that should’ve been a wake-up call for the Indian tech scene.......but most of us are too busy posing on LinkedIn to notice. Out of over 1,000 applications for a 50 LPA tech role, the majority submitted absolute trash for a basic coding task. Yes......basic. Not a system design round Just a simple task to test if they can code. And the result? Poor-quality code No understanding of the basics The same people call themselves “Tech leads,” “Experts,” or “SDEs” on LinkedIn, write long motivational posts, and act like they’re running the world. Let’s be honest: Many in the tech world are all talk and no skill. They’re more focused on looking smart online than actually being good at their job. This isn’t about insulting anyone........it’s about calling out a culture where everyone techie wants a big salary, but very few want to do the hard work to deserve it.

Indian log hi machate hai... Pahle linkedin ke posts se hi kafi learning ho jati thi, ab influencer bhar gaye hai pure. Sirf hoshiyar lag ke hi paisa pit lete hai to hard work kyu karenge. Isliye bahar wale product banate hai, apan application. Apne log company crack kar bhi liye to sirf bade tag ke liye karte hai taki chhod ke how I cracked Meta/Google/Amazon bolke gyaan pelein. I have worked with people jinka koi khaas tech background nahi tha, but they stayed with company, became part of product team, learned problem solving and then became valuable asset for their team. Interview crack karke 1 saal kaatna bina ukhade, fir bhaag jana aur apne hoshiyar hone ka dhol pitna naya trend hai. Koi baat agentic AI ka kar rahi aur apna muh ka photo dali hai, koi emotional story daal rakha hai, koi jivan sarthak karne ka gyaan baghar raha hai, koi google kaise crack kia ki tips dene k bahane data le raha interested likhwa ke, koi course bech raha hai apna fake achievement dikha ke... Naya facebook ban gaya hai Linkedin hamare Indian bhaiyo ke wajah se. Linkedin ka naam badal ke ab LinkedIndia rakh dena chahiye. 😶
