Shifting from Bangalore to Hyderabad
I’m working in Bangalore for last 9 years. Currently I got 2 offers.
1. CTS - Bangalore (CTC - 22.7 LPA)
2. Deloitte - Hyderabad (CTC - 24.2 LPA)
Is it good move to shift to Hyderabad for Deloitte ? Is it ok to ask the HR if my base location can be changed to Bangalore ?
Please share your thoughts

Shifting cities after 9 years is a big decision! Have you considered the cost of living, network, and career trajectory in both locations? Asking HR for location preference is definitely worth trying.

Deloitte Hyderabad does offer a slightly higher CTC, but consider factors like relocation costs, work-life balance, and long-term growth opportunities. Asking HR about a Bangalore base is absolutely fine, many companies are flexible with location preferences!

Money talks, but so does your comfort zone! If you love Bangalore, ask Deloitte HR for a location change. Worst case, they say no, best case, you get more money AND your city

Deloitte Hyderabad: More money, less traffic, great biryani. CTS Bangalore: Less money, great weather, startup vibes. Tough choice, what are your thoughts

Both are solid offers! Have you thought about how Hyderabad vs. Bangalore might impact your long-term career?

If you move, what’s the first thing you’d do in Hyderabad?

I can’t really say which company is better since both have their pros and cons, plus their own perks. It's best to figure out which company feels right for you first, and then everything else will fall into place.
Keeping company aside, if you’re not from Bangalore, you might want to think about moving to Hyderabad for a change of vibe. It’s like stepping into a whole new world (yeah, it’s summer, so it’s definitely hotter than Bangalore, but I wouldn't judge the place based on just one season). First off, compensation is already sorted, so that’s a win already! The cost of living, people, food, property rent, nightlife & entertainment, traffic, and getting around are all pretty good, so you’ll definitely feel comfortable here. As for your career, I don’t know the specifics, but I hope things will work out for you!
And lastly, if your monthly expenses like commitments and EMIs are on the lower side, you’ll definitely be able to save a DECENT amount each month.
Hope this helps! :D

It depends. If you’re staying at rented house in Bangalore and if you’re okay to relocate you can definitely consider shifting to Hyderabad because cost of living in Hyderabad is much much more lesser than Bangalore and also traffic is less. So practically 24 lpa in hyd is equal to 30 lpa in Bangalore.

Would recommend DELOITTE HYDERABAD.
Cost of living in Hyderabad is less expensive than Bangalore
Hyderabad is better in terms of traffic
Consider Deloitte if you want career opportunities to be exponential
