I had an interview with TCS last Thursday. Three interviewers took my interview and the conversation went really well for almost 57 minutes. But it's been 6 days and I haven’t received any updates yet and no reply to my followup mail.
Is this normal. Has anyone else experienced a similar delay after a good interview with TCS ?

Salary Discussions, Hike & Promotions

Hi All,

I have 14 years of work experience with 10+ years in cloud platforms. I'm a Solution Architect and currently getting paid 42 LPA (includes 10% variable pay) and it's been 3 years since I joined NTT. Hike in the last 2 years hovered around 3-4%. I'm currently halfway through the interview process with Wipro, Accenture and a 5-year old Startup for Senior Solution Architect and Director roles. In every HR conversation, I have said anything around 52 - 56 LPA is good enough. What is a good number that I can close out with during salary discussion? HRs from both Wipro and Accenture said there'll be variable pay and the startup company HR said it's all fixed. Please share your thoughts and ideas.

I know that we shouldn't be reliant on emotions to make decisions, but I wanted to get out of mind games, politics, people not justifying their role, bad hike, working in shifts, wasted a year on administrating old tools. Which has no mark in industry

My family is not dependent on my paycheck, I asked if they can shelter me for the coming months,while i learn again and apply for the technology i previously worked on the 1st project (PySpark).

How bad is this decision in terms of market situation, currently I've got 4 yoe

Edit: I've found that in this 30 days, I've felt more joy, not that I've ditched my work, but less burden on ownership or holding it. I am doing my best and i got award yesterday for delivering upgrades for platform without a hitch.

Day to Day Office

It's been 8 months since, I left my last job.
Fortunately or unfortunately, I had a thing going on with one of the junior HR there.

Things got complicated after a few good initial months and everyone in the office started gossiping about us, even my manager asked me to stay away from her.

I was anyway looking for a switch and didn't want much drama, so I silently quit.

But that girl, just doesn't leave me alone! Idk if the HRs have access to our personal data as well, she just got my address anyhow and came to my house last week!

Idk what to do, isn't this unethical? How can a company share my private data to a random employee?

Hi everyone, I’m 24M and I’ve been working in a private  company for the past 2 years.

A girl joined my team a little after I did. From day one, we got along really well. We shared phone no and Insta on day two and started talking a lot.

We became really close friends. We could talk about anything. We used to chat till 3am and have long phone calls. Over time, I didn’t realize it, but I started liking her I had a big crush. I liked how smart and confident she was.

One time, I went on a trip with some guy friends. We were drinking and talking about our love lives. That night I realised how much I liked her. I was drunk, and I sent her a voice note telling her I like her and would like to talk over coffee.

She got really upset. She said I crossed the line, blocked me from everywhere, and told me to stay professional. Our teams changed after that, so we didn’t even have to talk for work.

I still see her sometimes. I don’t know how to move on. Has anyone else felt like this?
