The Interview That Went Off Script

I walked into this senior role interview fully prepped then the panel asked me about teamwork. Instead of sugarcoating i told them straight up that i dont do politics and i call out bad bosses and I expect accountability not just team spirit. The room froze. i know they thought i was a trouble. No job offer came after. This makes me wonder... is honesty really a weakness in corporate culture? or are companies just looking for people who keep quiet

been there. Honesty isn’t the problem, it’s how honest u are + who’s listening. Corporates say they want bold voices but mostly prefer ‘team players’ who don’t shake things. U weren’t wrong, just not their ‘fit’. Keep being you

[an executive](username) Exactly.... Its not honesty that’s the issue but how and where it’s shared. Staying true to yourself is what really matters
