I had been associated with Genpact when once GE from 2000 to 2008. This was my first job and I today proudly say it that i was associated with the company. An excellent place to work especially for the females as it gives a good work life balance. Great learning experience. Even today if given an opportunity would like to come back to Genpact. Had worked with great leaders and mentors.

Dislikes

Can't think of any. Probably the salary can be made a little better.

...at is good as they have all US government project so you won't be on bench ever. Salary and benefit wise it is good.

Dislikes

No work life balance people above you thinks what you do or doing that can be done in a minute. In some of project they don't have management skill but still they are at project management level.

1. Salary credited on time. 2. Job Security is very good, they did not left your hand in between of tenure

Dislikes

1. You should forget that you have any personal life, when ever you apply for leave for vacation, one question asked to you, Billing loss ho jaayega. 2. Company is totally depend on client statement, of client said this is bad person then final verdict is employee is bad. 3. Appraisals in end of year (October) is maximum 5-6% because the manager always said, abhi to new project hi nahi hai, promotion, Appraisals ye sab directors and Partner ke liye hai.

Compare to market salary is low. And lot of politics even Infosys manager will do politics for hike and position.

wide range of projects you can have on site opportunities

Dislikes

though you have wide range of projects, its hard to change. salary is not up to the mark when compared to industry. Hikes are very less. Very rare to see double digit hike. you never get on time promotions once you crossed 5+ years of experience.
