Salary, compensation, perks, insurance, people, food and transport.
The learning is also good here which also imptoves a lot in the overall personal development.

Dislikes

- The PPBU is like a start up within Adobe with a very dynamic environment. Things change here everyday and you just cannot be complacent here. You have to be hungry and open to adapting to change almost instantly.
- Lately it has become extremely stringent and micro management has kicked in. To the extent that call talk time is seen and if a minimum threshold isn’t met, the rep is penalised. It feels like working in a call centre.
- The Management is ametuer (even though well experienced) and naive and are not open to suggestions.
- Open door policy is just for the namesake. Your opinions here matter but are not acted upon. In the end you are forced to accept the BU’s proposal. It’s not a democracy that this BU follows. It’s more like a dictatorship.
- The funniest (read disappointing) part is that the pricing decisions for certain products are taken by the Product Manager and not the Director of Sales which almost always results in the reps being penalised.
- Lastly, you are hardly allowed to apply for IJP’s. If you do apply, the Management takes it personally. If you resign without a reason involving a personal/family emergency, the Management takes it personally.
I think this covers everything.

I would still say to take up a role if you fet one in this BU as it would make you strong and immune to live under unpredictable circumstances.

Work

Working here for close to 4 years now. The first 2 years were full on learning and exciting. Every change was well embraced. But in the end frequent changes do get on to you after a certain amount of time.
Lately things have become very stringent.

Products and that is all.

Dislikes

Just about everything! From the culture in the sales department to the narrow minded people who stoop low to stop you from growing. If you somehow get into Vineet Sood’s Org, just join somewhere else instead spoiling your life and career. The guy is sadist and doesn’t have any personal life which can harm you and the suffocation is way more that you can comprehend. They will push you for unethical sales and if you do that then you are stuck for life if you feel like working there for long.

From the ERC team to the people all around the floor you will sense negative vibes which not only effects you mentally but stops you from learning new things, no training sessions for new products while Adobe keeps growing and even after an year you will feel as if your skills have been depleted.

Work

It was way boring and monotonous.

none, you will become a robot if you join Adobe, no work-life balance. you will have no hobbies except struggling with terrible deadlines. waste company to work. They make you work even on Saturdays and Sundays.

Dislikes

terrible work-life balance, managers suck the life of you, terrible regionalism at Adobe Bangalore. managers don't do any work except praising their supervisors who sit in the US. They do nothing but worship their supervisors. They are running a modern day sweatshop. They make you work Saturdays and Sundays. Most people work at Adobe and don't' complain because they are happy with money and lack courage.

Work

Highly Hectic, Terribly unhealthy for life.

Overall experience had been Awesome. Great place to work. Very friendly management and flexible about anything you share. They understand your problem very well and support you. Only problem I am facing is, I fail to understand that why company like Adobe gives Negative feedback to new company that I am working for. Verification check is always negative. So, all the above good experience turns to a night mare when you come to know that because of Adobe your future employees will hear negative feedback about you.

Managers should look at employees as assets and not weak links in their chain. Growth should be more transparent and logical. A certain amount of favoritism exists which is straining an otherwise awesome company.

Work

Too much work over paradise.

The only good thing about Adobe is it’s compensation and stocks that it gives to all employees

Dislikes

Culture is terrible. Full of politics. The worst management and leaders are I have seen in my working life. The work that one gets to do at Adobe India is superficial and very backoffice like. No learning, no challenges ... just meetings and politics.

This company is OMG. I don't know why it got 6th place in Great Places to Work. It should have been 1st. I've talked to people working in Amex and they stand nowhere near this company.
