Amazon hai great metors to learn from and has a very fast moving environment where things change very quickly which is exciting and makes it a great place to work.

Dislikes

Post Covid this company has made some drastic changes which make it a little difficult to recommend people to join this company. Also I noticed a changed in culture of how teams are working now they don't push for innovation they just want to crunch numbers.

A lot of things!! 1. Horrible work roles, depreciating the education qualifications of individuals 2. Too much micro management system wise. Managers are ok 3. 0 job security. It seems Amazon hires people just to replace them with a lower salaried freshers 4. Work roles are terrible, they don't interest anybody 5. There is absolutely no way an employee can get promoted with their hard work or smart work. They have to be really good with the higher ups. I know people who got promoted 1yr into Amazon and also 9 yrs into Amazon with amazing contributions to the team...Read More

I like Nothing about amazon supply chain

Dislikes

I hate Everything about Amazon supply chain. Program Managers and L7 misbehave. Don't join teams with managers Divya Kapoor, Samaddar Indranil and Aseem Khosla. They all take grudge on employees. Favouritism and groupism is their forte. If you have no choice then join but take IJP in 6 months.

Companies policies are good, they give their employees freedom and flexibility in working shifts. Leave policies are very good.

Dislikes

Management take advantages of their position. They purposely put pressure to work more than what company asks from the employee and also they misuse some company policies to put pressure of PIP on the employees and ask them to resign. It is totally depends on what kind of senior management you have, unfortunately I have the worst.

Overall company culture, and work life balance was good

Few Managers were hectic and also the promotions in the following roles were too low mainly from L3- L4 level was damn slow even though I have trended in the best employee for more than an year in the role continuously without a drop in performance but there is no benefit or even a word about promotion even after such hard work
