1. An employee in Aricent would not be fired unless :-
(a) his/her is extremely high or
(b) he/she has done some terrible mistakes.

Dislikes

1. The management thinks something and tells something else.
2. HR department is fit ONLY to host Rangoli competition.
3. Compensation is poor.
4. The number of hours an engineer has to work solely depends upon his/her manager.
5. If the manager asks the person to work 18 hours a day, he has to follow, else leave the job.
6. The quality of job is not good. Its mostly regular maintenance kind of work.
7. Engineers are being lured in to stay in the company with fake verbal assurance that they would be sent overseas.
8. Ratings depend upon the whims of the manager.

Work

Work at Aricent is extremely boring and frustrating. The job is mostly mundane with little technical importance.

Teammates - Depends on project for which you are working. Training - One of the best training Nalanda training you have to clear if you join as a freshers. Job security - Its okay okay, depends on your contribution to the project/company. Career growth - Aricent is known for the onsite opportunity if you cross around three years of experience. salary - I would say little below than market average but definitely more than TCS, wipro, accenture. work environment - It goods.

Dislikes

In some of the projects, lot of politics for getting on-site opportunity.

Work

Exciting, I can say, best in telecom for freshers, lot of opportunities.

Best part of the company is the flexible timings. There are a variety of network and telecom projects which help in providing exposure to different domains and technologies. Hike and compensation is good when compared to other services based companies.

Dislikes

Not a great place for freshers to start their career as most of the projects are in maintenance phase and there are very few development projects. Once the project is ramped down, you need to be on your toes to find a new project as you can get fired anytime. You may have to give up your core skill and just join any project if you are on bench.

worst culture of senior folks.
No abroad opportunity

Dislikes

Compensation is decent, but growth is slow. The work pressure is very high. Sometimes, I have to work 14-18 hours straight in a day as I have to attend client calls in the evening and sometimes late into the night. Managers do not value an individuals’ unique strengths, which is why I have to take back my suggestions most of the times. I do receive appreciation emails from my client, but they mostly go unnoticed during my mid-year appraisals. Also, there is no on-job training for freshers, hence senior folks like me have to guide them step-by-step, which is a pain sometimes.

Nothing good in this company. They have to seriously look into Managers, I have seen worst managers working in Aricent.

Dislikes

You are treating like slave. Project tenure are very small every six months you have to be ready for project change. They will put you in any domain either you belongs or not.

Aricent is good place to work when it comes to technology, career development and has a friendly environment

Dislikes

Aricent needs to improve the work life balance of employees . Also the rating system of bell curve is not a good system to be followed. Employees need to be evaluated solely on their skill basis and not on comparative basis .

Not employee friendly policies. Stagnant growth after some time. Testers are not valued.

Work

There are no real benefits apart from learning which also has to be done by your self. L&D is a joke.
