Availability of work from home, flexible work hours (both depending on process and mgr), good managers (again differes case to case). If you have good connect at right places and have decent job, there are opportunities to go on site(European countries mostly) for min of 2years which gets extended if performance is good.

Dislikes

Where to begin!! The pay structure is a horror. Everything is added in your ctc (gratuity, mediclaim, transport expenses, shift allowances if any), so when you compare it with your previous organisation (if you had like mine wherein only thing the ctc has is basic,hra, personal allowance and pf), it looks very grand, but ultimately it's barely anything(i thought I'd gotten hike of 40%+ but how wrong was I!!). Even performance bonus is capped and addes in overall CTC. After this there comes the yearly hike!! In past two years the avg hike I've gotten is less than 13% that's worse than anything I've gotten in 7yrs before that. They had a policy change last year which makes you wait for three years before you're eligible for any kind of promotion!!! I've heard max 18 months or for that matter 24months but 36months is just unacceptable. Even with outstanding performance you'll require min two years to become eligible for any kind of promotion. So if you're a high performer like me (not to brag but avg promotion time line for me had been 2yrs at max in any organisation I'd worked with prior to axa), you'll be frustrated here because I've been told there are no exception to this policy. There is no culture such as for employee engagement, team csr activities, team outings, employee engagement fund, etc. Only once a year you've a team outing sponsored by process but less said said the better. They don't even pay for outings with client. You've to pay from your pocket if you happen to organise one. Overall at organisational level AXA had been the worst experience I've had in almost 10yrs of my career.I've stayed this long only because my manager is very understanding and there is lot to learn in the process I work for. But, you can't survive very long just on those two. Oh and last but the not the least, the clients are terror too. I had previously worked with only US clients and I must say US people are way more professional and better to deal with than European clients.

The work-life balance is great. There's flexibility. Managers are cooperative. Culture is very good which brings bonding together amonf the colleagues

Although even after such positives, learning and the quality of work is a big question. Even growth up the ladder has a pretty complex process.

Dislikes

You don't leave the company, you leave the management. There was limited scope of learning with respect to the quality of work. The senior management was unable to get new projects for the department and the team. It's slow in taking major decisions. Absolutely no innovation takes place and it makes you feel very comfortable and latched on to your role that you become stagnant.

Work is monotonous and the quality of work makes you feel underemployed. Although, they demand for good qualifications and experience for the position but the quality and the work will make you feel you're under employed

Average company to work with. Job security is based on your performance. Overall they don't layoff just like that. Bonus is 20% of all other components and is part of CTC and not variable as in other companies. In sort you will definitely get 20% even for average rating. There is no clawback in case you leave the organization. Work life balance is good

Lean six sigma culture is in nascent stage. Management is not effective. Slow decisions.

My department had good management

Dislikes

Transport and employee facilities like food, building and hygiene etc are PATHETIC. Clients are entertained beyond reasonable limits. No specific efforts of retention. Significant attrition rate however no concrete leadership efforts at retention.

Monotonous beyond a particular limit. Not too much of learning beyond your own process. Efforts at moving to other departments is futile since all processes are quiet niche, management looks at it as did loyalty for their department.

Salary, politics ongoing in the company, appraisal are mostly based on manager employee realations and not what you contribute towards your company

To be really really honest i am working with AXA BS more than 2 years as f now and i cannot see any opportunity and the support senior gives to junior.

You put yourself to your organizations and in return you can all get is CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM.
