In office an on ship people think they are smart then others an they don't have manners to talk with crew from Deck side and engine side and galley staff .they will give more respect to the officers while they come to office .they don't care about crew

The rapid spread of the COVID-19 pandemic has a significant impact on the shipping industry. Crew changes are extremely difficult or even impossible due to the travel restrictions imposed in many countries. This affects not only seafarers on board but also those ashore waiting for reemployment. Those seafarers waiting for employmentmay increasingly face financial difficulties. BSM recognises the hardship faced by the families of some of our seafarers who are now significantly delayed in joining a ship and do not earn wages. It was therefore decided to provide unbureaucratic support to affected seafarers and their families during the pandemic with cash advances: Active BSM Seafarers who are considerably delayed in joining their assigned ships due to the pandemic may apply for a cash advance.
