Defence dept AVP is super toxic. He will make your life miserable if you use your brain and didn’t follow his order He abruptly start yelling and uses verbal abusive words . Even senior designer engineers have to work as a machine operator , cleaning machine with hands and sometimes without gloves . Most of defence products are outsourced and assembled here , no R&D only gimmicks . No respect for juniors , mental harassment Unrealistic expectations and 1-3% increment Hold increment for 5-6 months by HR dept. Even you have a good work experience in design or Research They would give you any monotonous work like - machine operator, tool cleaner , machine cleaning , floor cleaning using mop/ machine, painting on machine, job cleaning , clearing out spider webs, only thing remaining is toilet cleaning Toxic workplace , No work SOP, just uses jugaad. They will put in rotational shift which will affect your sleep schedule and overall health. Even you have paid leaves Manager won’t approve it due to his egoistic attitude. Need to thing on working in this company as GET because they hire GET just for showing number to government. They will say anything like you got extension but after their end of contract period you will never get any response from your working department and HR department
