Dislikes

Culture, training, management, and whatnot... They don't provide you with proper training and expect 100% from you. They have the worst culture, even though you put forward your concerns and issues with the senior manager, nothing is going to change and they do favors to only those bootlickers. The HR's are the worst of a kind, theywon't take any action and try to back the managers which doesn't make sense. There is no learning. They do shadow fund accounting and they claim it as end-to-end fund accounting. Most of the people in my team already left. Better avoid or consider it as a last option....Read More

The company is good. However the growth is very slow and also depends on the relationship with managers. Quality of work and tenure doesn't matter here. Often least deserving person gets promoted with less experience just because of their good terms with the manager.

The client Blackstone is really good and appreciates your support and helps you to understand the work, projects and insights.

Dislikes

The work culture is terrible, you will end up working more than 11 hours average everyday in a month. Still after putting efforts you will not be appreciated for your work, and the terrible part is internal politics. You will be between the people who will always ready to disrespect you and humiliate you in the open forum and discuss within teams. I accidentally said "Love You" at the end of my teams call with my Manager😶

My manager is a middle aged women in her mid 30s, Yesterday we were having our weekly standup call and accidently while ending the call, I said, "Love you" instead of "Thank you". This forced habit of saying Love you at the end of every call has been put into me by my girlfriend and I never knew I'll end up saying this in a Work call. My manager hasn't said anything yet to me but I am scared like hell, What if she complaints to the HR tomorrow😶 Any suggestions, what should I do? Should I apologize? UPDATE: we talked after 2-3 days and she was very chill about it, we even laughed over it a bit and everything seems fine now. Though she has asked me to meet after office for a cup of coffee today, let’s see what happens🤞
