- AC Cab facility both ways.
- Discounted food.
- Good work life balance.
- Paid sick leaves.
- People are encouraged to take their planned leaves.
- Discounted cafeteria food.
- Helpful colleagues.
- 28 weeks maternity leave.
- Marriage leave for 10 working days over and above for AL/SL.

Dislikes

- No process is streamlined and lots of manual work required which takes up most of the time.
- Too many activities are driven by the management all at the same time which makes concentrating on the core activities difficult.
- Mangers are not matured/seasoned as they have a tendency to generalise even when work done on all contracts are not the same.
- All about quantity of work done not about quality.
- Too much politics and biasism.
- Mandatory to submit one JDI/A3 or process improvement idea which is suppose to be the managements objectives if no idea than the score for than quadrant is 0 for that quarter.
- Appraisal based on managers perception not on facts while he does not have any idea about the work an associate does.

Training period in BT is really a great time and probably will be the only good time you spend here if you don't have a good team. In training you learn a lot with various fun activities as well but again this depends on your trainer mine was great so had a good time.

You can apply to Internal job postings after you spent 12 months in the company from a entry level position you can apply to Subject matter expert position. But again your growth depends a lot on your manager if you happen to get a biased manager then growth is little difficult if you want growth you literally have to lick your manager's feet and do a lot more than the work you are hired for. Your performance don't matter if you don't have connections with your manager because only he will highlight you in the system. So hope that if you decide to join this company to get a good and unbiased manager.

You will annually get around 8-10 % hike in your salary during appraisal with a decent performance.

Work is moderate, if you are a fresher and planning to join here please don't they don't give good salary to fresher. I was hired at 1.80 per annum and for first 3 months got only around 13k after appraisal my package was 2.10

As an executive you will feel safe and secured but above an executive you are on your toes all the time. Cafeteria and work space is comfy and both side transport with effortless exp. Good DLF parks around the building with easy access to sutta and chai :)

Dislikes

Biased management, lots of politics starts from junior level, less growth opportunities for hard working, smart people will be judged on their PR, bad and non-transparent HR policies, bad compensation policy for new joiners and appraisal, your innovations will only matter if you have PR with seniors, Biasness on basis of your caste and society - worst ever exp I had in my career, It's takes a year to remove someone on non performing grounds,

BT hires people and gives them job/roles , which are most of the times not matching with the person's profile. As a result, attrition happens in a large mass from this company. For example, I was a PMP certified candidate but I was given a calling profile role. I highlighted this to First Line Manager and Second Line Managers but to no avail. However, this also depends on the projects to which you are assigned. Most of the projects have clerical kind of roles. Few projects do have real project management stuffs but these projects are take up by old timers in BT. In nutshell, if you go to this company , please don't expect rosy and flowery project. Expect a role not matching to your profile.

There's was only one thing i liked about this organization that it gave me very good co workers. Apart from that, it's a very bad place to work with. Specially if you are in SA (SERVICE ASSURANCE) dept. then your life is gone and so your career. Don't know about other dept. like CDSS or BTC but as i have worked in SA all i can say is that, be very careful. Today i tried to re apply in this organization but as i left the place without listening to my manager who asked me to stay back and i didn't so they won't take me again Never. Such a funny rule it is. In this organizations if you want to stay back and if you are in SA dept. You need to play your ball very tactfully.

Less work pressure, good transport and subsidised food.

Dislikes

Lot of biasness. All promotions and IJP's are pre decided. Just because few inefficient people had contacts in BT, they are hired as senior managers even though they don't have any knowledge. Very manipulative managements, lack of transparency and completely directionless management who are destroying a good company. It enjoys respect in market but in reality everything works as government municipal corporations within organisation. No job security at all if you don't surrender your self respect.

Work

Boring and monotonous without new learning

Appraisals are quite good even for those who have not done well enough for themselves, for the team.

Dislikes

It has grown to be a typical Indian “sarkari naukri” in which things are delayed to the last. There is no proper recognition method for talents. Indian management has ruined its business and quality for those working in India in the name of cost cutting.

Work

Average. Have no scope of technical growth as we are just thrown at work without proper trainings
