Job Security, only to a certain extent. You're forced to resign if you are on bench for longer than a month or two.

Appraisals and Promotions are not at all discussed. We have a annual discussion with the manager, who has nothing to do with the appraisal. The person who is responsible for your appraisal or promotion has zero idea of your work and contributions.

Work Politics, no salary hike. In name of salary hike they will increase 1k or 2k yearly and work load will be more. Favoritism and work politics. HR, Senior management everyone is corrupted and harass the employee and do work politics.

The worst management you will ever see. Some people have become managers only because their husbands are in good management positions at the company, but they have no real skills. They don't even know how to adjust the brightness on their laptop. And for every small issue, even personal matters, they send an email just to have prooffor the future. Some people from the higher management are very keen in research and development. Since it is a service based company so might not receive much monetary benefit from it, but if you enjoy the work you will get a lot of appreciation for your work and exposure.

The TL and delivery managers doesn't care much about work like balance. They prefer licking the clients boots rather than voicing for what is right. To my experience TL's don't care much about your career or area of interest and would rather ask you do something that falls completely out of your interest.
