Being at Cheil I got the advantage of working with the biggest IT company, Samsung. Project deadlines were unrealistic but allowed me to learn and act fast. So I would say that it helped me in working in every scenario Pan India and made me work independently later on.

Dislikes

The company provides the best facilities but sometimes it surely has some management issues where the senior management only focuses on academic qualification and not the work experience of a person and his achievements in the past and current scenario where he had contributed to the company's growth.

Toxic work culture, dictatorial work environment, senior management (expats) are incapable of managing the client. Their incapability to explain creative idea and processes to the client leads to mediocre work output. Work is too monotonous leading to lack of learning and growth. HR, especially, is only interested in pleasing the Koreans. Policies are not employee friendly.

Unhealthy barbaric work culture where gossips catch like fire & HR does nothing to promote a healthy culture. My package duped in the name of bonus but one never even gets 100% of it despite working 10-12 hrs a day!!

You get to learn a lot as you get to interact with Sr. PM's and other management people in Samsung. The team at Samsung is very hard working, deligent and smart, so under their guidance you learn a lot. Unlike the Cheil team, here some departments still have smart and knowldegable people like the Data analytics team and performance team. Some divisions of creative team is also good.

Dislikes

Many hires in Mid-management, Creative and Studio team are pathetically bad, please beaware of them. Guess it is because they are hired on reference and are not througly assesed or evaluated during the interview process. This makes it difficult for other employees to get the work done around them even if it gets completed its not done right at the first go because of their lack of experience and limited knowledge....Read More
