The Cognizant Kolkata work environment is worst than your imagination. I always regret my first 4 years at Cognizant working with such nonsense people and in a toxic environment, i can't even explain those in few words. Always avoid joining in Kolkata location if you are from any other part of India. They will teach you writing downDada and Didi in your official emails. Cognizant has spoiled my initial 4 years of IT Career. Thanks to God i left Kolkata CTS and then switched my company and moved to Hyderabad and Bangalore and have grown up with my career. I really hate the work culture at Cognizant Kolkata. Never ever join there.

You have to give the company 9 hours worth of productivity without gaining any value and respect from the management. Nothing positive about this company. They promise you more number of leaves in your leave balance but they never give you a chance to use them. They want you to take planned leaves even for medical issues which are unpredictable. Even if they agree to take a leave, they will never give a leave but instead they will swap your week offs. This is the worst company to work in. Everything about the company and the management sucks....Read More
