Cognizant offers good salary as per industry standards and you get good chance to work on latest technologies. Skill development and up-skill programs are good. You have 3 days work from office policy no pressure on maintaining minimum office hours. Good work life balance depends on role and project for me it’s manageable.

more ijp opportunities should be given. more on-site opportunities should be given. employee benefits should improve. Medical insurance amount should be increased with no copay option to support employees. 10 hour working hour policy should be removed.

It has helped me build a robust career and helped me grow along with the organization.

Frequently changing revision cycles, changing promotions process and cycles and very less salary hikes. Also for the veteran employees, salary standards are very low compard to the market standards

Dependent on project your work life balance is good.

Dislikes

Working hours you need to stay 10 hours in the office (9 AM to 7 PM). This year hike percentage is very very worst. Compared to previous year's hike percentage. Work life balance is dependent upon the project. Every weekend you need to login if you are in support project. 6 th day allowance is less. Rating is not straight forward. Always they will give preference to their state peoples.

**Title:** Unfair Treatment and Toxic Management in Medicare Healthcare I worked as a Senior Process Executive in the Medicare Healthcare project at Cognizant Technology Solutions, and my experience was nothing short of disappointing. The management treats employees like laborers rather than professionals. The environment is incredibly toxic, especially in the project I was involved in. The most troubling aspect was the blatant favouritism, political and unprofessional behavior from the management. The manager and his wife, who both work on the same project, would regularly take long breaks and leave the rest of us to handle back-to-back calls for nine hours straight without any opportunity for a proper break. While no one else was allowed to take a holiday or even a short break, they had the freedom to go out for coffee at Starbucks or attend parties during work hours. It’s disheartening to see how promotions and high ratings are given only to those who are in the good books of the management. If you’re friends with the manager, willing to lend your car for their personal use during shifts, or pay for their weekend alcohol, you’ll get ahead. The rest of us are treated like expendable resources. The 10-hour shifts are grueling, and the work environment is demoralizing. Management’s attitude is that they’re doing us a favor by employing us, rather than treating us with the respect we deserve as professionals. The final straw for me was the realization that management would cover for each other during any compliance issues, making it clear that there’s no accountability or fairness in this project. If you value your mental health and professional growth, I would strongly advise against working in this project at Cognizant. In my first 2 years this company was great, but when a lead snatching all of his colleagues from previous organization to here to make some inner political barrier, then things start getting out of hand

All fine but this is depending on the client you are working for... I worked for 2 projects till now where the 1st one was overall good but the next one is disaster. .

The bench process and project allocation process is not good.. They auto allocate projects which is is. Not related to your domain, sometimes they lie in talent marketplace in designation . Big issue is 10hrs working a day

Many fresher candidates are on bench for more than 1.5 years from their onboarding. Freshers are not getting any project, no work. Cognizant not a good choice for freshers. Try other competitive companies and also check their track record for freshers. Appraisal cycle is delayed due to recession and budget. Promotion of many employees is getting postponed and delayed.
