Most of the projects are support. There is no Work/Life Balance, team members will be calling you anytime even when you are on leave. Most of the national holidays you will end up working. If you are a fresher and eager to grow your skills then please skip this company.

Work is good. Environment is good. But some people working there have politics escepcially the old people working there. To secure their job they torture newbies making them to quit themself. I people well all come to work and leave not to dip nose into others personal. Simply tortures someone sitting idle and minding their business. Also the transport team there is a shit.

Learned lot of new things and i have worked with good team and great support from senior managers when you got strucked somewhere. Overall it's a good experience working with cognizant.

End of the day it's a service base company without proper work life balance and not much advisable to stay long in the service based companies like this.

Despite of project managers, the organization takes strict action against any misconduct which can be totally appreciated.

Dislikes

Being a female, our manager kept ignoring our complaints about s**ual harassment at work place and started victim blaming just because the culprit is a critical resource. Later upon escalating the matter some action was taken.
