Professional behaviour , hybrid work model good to some extent with kind of micro management

Dislikes

No proper leaves during post hospitalisation recovery as they don’t have money to get another resource and they say they can’t request client for payment of another resource even though you had serious health issues. It is kinda chilled if project and work is not good - speaking from previous project experiences

In my project, - work life balance is good . - if you are lateral joinee then your salary would be good ... - they have some good accounts.

Dislikes

- there is no appraisal no one there is recognised your work.. - if you work very hard then also very less increment. - work quality is too low.you can't learn new things here.

Salary on time. Average hike. Perks and gifts are there but very intermittent. Team lunch once in a year.

Projects are not upto that mark. Mostly support project and very less dev projects. Managers are like robots. Not a good work culture.

In the recession time cognizant has done massive layoffs. So it is mandatory to give an security for an employee and regarding hikes there is no recognition of hardwork done.

Managers will not supports to you if you are on bench to get a project, there is portal from there you can apply but no garanty that u will get a chance to give an interview for the applied projects as sometimes position was already filled, or got cancelled .
