Work depends upon what project you get. Had a chance to work on a small project from scratch.

Dislikes

Work timings are pathetic. You work at your regular timings and still have to login later for client calls. In my case mostly extending till midnight. The hybrid culture here is totally unproductive. Upper management is worse, expects you to be available anytime for calls.

Poor salary no hikes also, south indian (tamil) dominant company all management handle by them so if u are non tamilian it is very hard to get the recognition or back from u r superior.

Cognizant is really very good company. All HR staff is also very good. Having opportunities for growth and learning new skills.

If process get shutdown you will be on bench/ hold for some particular days, till you get new process. And if no new process available in that particular time. You will be relieve from the company. Less job security.
