I started my career at 2011 and quit in 2017. The management is professional to the highest level. After the HP merge, yes there was no positive stuffs like opportunities and hike n stuff.. but I was feeling very professional working with CSC. I started as technical support but got into the role I wanted after 18 months as per policy. I got good hike after showing what my contribution was. Previous Cre'che was free, now its payable or removed.. that because financially things are not going well is what I was told.. But of all 4 companies and current. I felt CSC is best to work with... Standard of process at projects are good.. You do not have to break your head on what is happening..
Facilities cut down, cultural activities are present, but depends on ur manger.. They will not encourage you switching to your interest in technology even if there is opening .. For me it was very tuff.. but lucky
I was in my client place..So it was not lively.. But at CSC location its cool.. You will feel relaxed no matter wat pressure you have.. I was very much connected with the company since people management was good.. but now heard things are a little cranky.
Work life balance is good. There is no mandatory hour that a employee need to spent in office.
WOrking in CTS for 2.6 year and moving to CSC and working here for 10 month, i can feel the differences between both the companies. Firstly, talking about work culture, one major drawback of csc is that for a single project team would be separated and would be seating in different location. Even you are in same location the team members would be seating far away. There is no ODC for different accounts. Secondly and most importantly, there is no certainity about appraisal.you don't know when appraisal is going to happen.It could be in july or in aug or in sep and this time till september we don't have any news about appraisal. And they would take no interest in letting employee know when the hike is going to happen. Adding to that there is nothing in tha hand of HR.your hike depends on your manager. For example even if you have got 1st rating it might happen that the person getting 2nd rating could get more hike than you. So here rating doesn' t gurantee you good hike. There are lot of
1) No values of hardworking employees.
2) bad quality food.
3) If you going to complaint against any thing, no one will take action, and you will drop mail, it goes to infinity.
4) some managers have no sense of management, they think only people sit long time on chair those are very dedicated and hard work, they dont know about smart work. even they dont believe in smart work.
last one thing i would like to share. If you give any suggestion to your team lead or manager, they will downgrade you performance in only one day. No matter how long and hard work you done for company.
i dont know who appoint these guys as manager. Hey god save me.

i stayed here long Well it is average to like about CSC now it is new name in market as DXC my friends say nothing has changed things are stale and pale.
I stayed here for long, Company promises but doesnt deliver in all dimensions skills compensation growth opportunities etc. my friends say even after a year with new name as DXC it is still same stale pale company. Managers are too partial and favour employees speaking their language. malayali hindi tamil. this discrimination makes others separated and shift projects and company.
i was in 3 diff projects manager favour employee from their language speaking states specially hindi and malayalam tamil. other get disgudtedaabt it and have left

Less payroll as per your experience, poor and not helping HR people, confused HR policy , old technology work,variable amount not paid,HR people so rude and not helping ,2 year Bond system even for experience candidates,payroll according to experience slab not defined for example if your exp is 4 year and your current CTC is 2 lpa so they will give you max to max 3 lpa not more than that ,Only current CTC is considered not your experience year
Its a good place to work for married people who have gone through many excitements and now want peace and relaxation in life also you can maintain work life balance, so good company for people who wants rest along their work, Long leaves are approved easily even in 24*7 environment. you will feel bored after 2 years of working as this limits your growth and future potential also it makes you littile lazy as you are too fit into that comfort zone.
I have mentioned as their is less work so less optimization so less learning, overall company is good for settled people for learners this could be a worst place.

Managers, Sr.managers and higher authorities treat scrum masters as slaves.
Here nobody tries to fix the issue instead skips the problems.

DXC India gives you immense opportunity to grow professsionally. Even for freshers you got to have enough opportunity to learn and grow. In my 4 years at CSC (DXC), i have worked with full independence without any micromanage. That gives you a sense of responsiveness in every task you are assigned.
Salary hike and promotions are mirage in this company. There are many teams where more experienced good resources are having less salary than less experienced favourite resources.
Work load purely depends upon Project in which you are involved, but overrall work culture is good.
It's one of the best Company to work with, unfortunately it merged with HP and now they are in firing mode. I spent 12 years with such a wonderful Organization. The Growth prospects were awesome they were the pay masters before 2010.
The merger with HP and before that they acquired Covensys and that's the reason for their downfall.
I joined CSC in 2004 as an Engineer and grown over the span of 12 years and before leaving I was working as a Manager Operations. The work culture of CSC was awesome, they people were wonderful, the growth prospects were always excellent, they pay better
Management is very poor.
No job security.
No extra benifits other than Ur salary and no variable pay too.
No MNC culture.
You cannot stay more than 2 years they will ask u when ur leaving.
No HR .
I recommend not to join in Lorenzo Ur career will spoil . Out of 300 Developers 250 Developers are searching for job means how we can think of this situation.
