From the infrastructure perspective, being a Tech Mahindra company may appeal to you but there may not be anything else to attract you.

Well, where do I begin with this gem of a company? At Comviva, it's a common sight to see every third person holding a Director or VP title. Newcomers typically enter the organization close to the Manager level. So, if you've ever dreamed of a workplace where titles are handed out like candy on Halloween, it is exactly that organization. Actually, there is nothing to worry about here because when it comes to deadlines, there's no need to stress. Tasks can easily be postponed until tomorrow, or even later, allowing for a relaxed work life without the pressure of urgent delivery. There is nothing called URGENT here. Just pick any excuse from the endless buffet of lame excuses. Follow-ups? Who needs 'em? Follow-ups on progress are minimal, and missing important calls are often excused, allowing employees to spend years one after another in this organization without any struggle. Competency development? Well, competency development is really not required and looked for, as promotions are handed out bigheartedly, regardless of any actual skill development. And that’s the reason, the pay is not commensurate to the high designation offered for most of the employees here. Comviva may not be the best fit for those who prioritize productivity and quality, as processes seem to be implemented merely for show. So, those who value productivity and quality, steer clear. And don't be surprised if the HR says to you that we are offering a management position; just be aware that you may not have as much control or influence as you'd expect because everyone holds a designation like you and you may not know this reality when you get the attractive offer for namesake....Read More

I tried to find atleast one thing to like about this company.

Dislikes

Engineering manager have lot of Ego problem. They are assigning 5-6 tasks at a time. No proper documentation and training videos to learn about product. If you are asking please share document then they are saying it's in my mind and can't share. Product Managers are worst in this company. Upper management have trust issues. If a person is sick and asking for a leave with Medical then they are cross verify it with company doctor. Many project managers and line managers are very arrogant. If you complain regarding this then you will suffer a lot. No work life balance. Don't value experienced persons. No work life balance....Read More

Beware of DFS group especially security team with R**iv Sh*rm* as Manager. Once you join there, your future as a developer is over. You will asked to learn new technologies, but time will not be provided.Also you will encounter will seniors with Lala Attitude with designations but they are handed like potatoes. Immediately either switch teams or quit jobs.

One person at BU account level decides the performance rating based on hypicratic managers feedback. Suddenly for no reason they initiate NI. Everytime when a person changes we need to adopt to his vision, the delivery practice is not in an organized practice.
