Good work environment and culture Teammates are supportive and the management is transparent. There is a huge cafeteria and gaming arcade for chilling. Company policies are good.,appraisals are fair and they give good salary.

Dislikes

There is a lot of politics and the management doesn't address our issues. Salary is decent but career growth is slow.

Work Details

The job is quite interesting! I struggled a bit in the beginning as there was no formal training session. I learnt everything on the job. I got a chance to work with different different country's people.

Iam proud to say that I work for Cunard which is the oldest cruising company with the youngest fleet catering around the world. I would like to mention that we get chance to work mingle and make friends around the world ( about 40 to 60 ) nationalities. Get to see the whole world and get paid at the same time. During this difficult time of pandemic causing a great time of difficulty in the world profesionally, financially, personally etc., Cunard came forward in paying it's crew who were struck at home and not able to earn which is a great gesture from Cunard towards its crew. Cunard also repatriated it's crew around the world chartering flights and eventaking care of the quarentine period in the respective countries until every crew member reached their home. Everything was excellent until the pandamic. It's really difficult financially with paused in operation until may 2021 more then one year no pay

Dislikes

There is nothing to dislike while working on board Queen Victoria. It's a family atmosphere. Lovely ship
