Deloitte used to be good company in terms of career growth and innovation. But in last few years ,its moral values ,ethics and culture are deteriorating and the standards are declining day by day . The reason for low standards are simple. People who are working with Deloitte for many years and occupied their positions are not willing to give away the opportunities of growth to new joining individuals . They play filthy games and politics to gain their scores and crush their equivalents to ensure their growth. This has resulted in shaking the very foundation of Deloitte as a company which believes in inclusive and equality principles. My advice to all the active job seekers who are selected for Deloitte to double check the team which they are shortlisted and look for overall Deloitte feedback in internet.
Stressful working environment, no value of professional if he's from some other region of country, politics of all low level, no value of ethics, biasness.
Good training programs at the firm level. These programs make you a well grounded professional. Job security is ok. Career growth in this division is limited. Upto an Assistant Manager level its ok beyond that is politics. Work life balance is ok
The worst thing about the Market Development is the current leader who is all about I, me, myself plus his set of few yes boss members. Extremely partial approach in giving opportunities, micro managing, having no trust on the professionals, and hardly any vision for expansion.
Its good to spend few years. No long term career growth in this division especially under the current leader unless you are a yes boss person
Company culture is good, except for a few teams. Employee engagement is pretty good and we were all made to feel a part of the company.
Unfair assessment of performance, partial managers and politics.
My work was extremely niche with no application in real life, more of a support service. Career growth is terrible if you are not good at networking. One can only grow in Deloitte if he/she is good with people. Its difficult for introverts.
The brand value it has and working with US colleagues is really great and I personally and professionally improved a lot.
Though the company is good, your job satisfaction really depends on which team you are working for, whom you are reporting to, who is your team.. management and leadership is simultaneously involved in your job satisfaction and peace.
I love the Job security and flexibility options they provide for employees. On the technology front the company is open to innovation and readily adopts new technology. It has a great work culture and employees from various cultural backgrounds, all who works in happy collaboration.
