I am rating the company in terms of my experience and considering all other colleagues' opinion who work in Client Technology as Business Analyst / Technical Product Manager. The Client Technology is lacking transparency and favoritism strongly prevail during annual review process. Flexibility to work, Scope to learn, good stepping stone for freshers, good brand, recognized well in the job market, good culture.

Dislikes

Long work hours, pays far lesser than industry standards, back end team for US (though the learning curve depends team to team), sub standard other fringe benefits, favouritism at some levels, managers put their own admin work on seniors and staffs

There is no work life balance and seniors and managers are very unsupportive, always terget the colleagues. Internal politics are the major part of the EY. All the employees who working 10years continually they treat ourselves as the CEO of this company. Overall I do not recommend anyone to working with this organisation. Especially EY GDS Gurgaon based location.

EY GDS is not what I was used to be prior covid. Many things have changed, too much internal politics, Team size have gone big which is impacting the overall culture and people have come up with their own ways to woo the higher managers/leadership and get a floor visibility. So its a harsh truth but yes its a fact.

Dislikes

People who are working here for more than 12-15 years have now moved to a leadership position. Now all they themselves are interested in pursuing their own hobbies (oustside work e.g. Yogam Travelling, Blogging, Youtube, etc) and expect juniors to work 24x7

Everything 1. Office dirty politics 2. No transparency 3. Micro-Management 4. Very little or no hike in salary and they will give you same excuse every year that US and Europe market are down 5. No promotion, how can you expect a promotion when the organisation is struggling to pay you yearly hikes 7. No cab service 8. No subsidised cafeteria 9. No work life balance, they will ask you to work on Saturday as well. 10. No benefits over and above your salary 11. No team outing or any team activity, its always work, work and only work 12. The manager will always act like a boss, never as a leader 13. Whenever any project will have some mistake, they will out the blame on their juniors and leave no chance to take creadit if project will get appreciation from the client 14. The team is good.. With the challenging environment you get to learn and explore new things everyday.

The BMC leader is very biased and racial. She doesn’t care about the team or its dynamics. She encourages the next level leadership’s toxicity. She likes people pleaser and no body should question her. And all those you sucks up gets a promotion, good bonus and hike.

Compensation is good overall, HR is also somewhere try to maintain the work culture but it is bound on engagement requirement.

There is no promotion, Team culture, and support from seniors, they only expect and not give enough support to people even to those who work very hard, lot of favoritism is also there.
