Over a period of 7 years I have experienced a very good working culture yet aggressive and audacious approach to business. Very competitive yet great peers and stakeholders. However, over the past couple of years, the culture created by the earlier leadership, founders and people have completely vanished, there is no value given for strategy and planning, and it has become a completely top down and “Yes Man” culture. Promotions or career progressions are no more fair and meritocratic. Salary increments have been paused and corrections, if any, are also very biased and dubious. While the processes remain similar like earlier, there is no one overlooking or ensuring these are followed. HR has become weak and they lack backbone.
