Nothing to like about the company

Worst leadership. They are all friends and schoolmates etc supporting and cover each other's back and incompetence. Money is for avp and above and if you are a friend of anyone from the gang of leaders. You cannot survive here by just working you need to cajoule the leadership and be fake. Mediocre mindset focusing on politics and pulling mid level management with immense work pressure. No support from senior management as they with some power of decision making, they toss people out to dry with such demotivation that either person will look out for opportunities or will eventually be put in a situation where they will corner you and move you out of team. The company provides good atmosphere in general and the people and managers are nice. There are opportunities to upskill as well.

Dislikes

The work hours and the break policy is terrible and downright harmful to the employees health concerns. There is no work life balance as there is only a weekly off and that is rotational as well which might leave people working for 7 days consecutively.

Working with genpact is totally a feel of government job, as they offer full job security. Perks and benefits are also outstanding. Environment within genpact is very healthy and all the management right from bottom to top are very helpful and supportive.

Compensation and Benefits are the the worst in Genpact. Plus there is no defined criteria for promotion. Some people get promoted in no time, while others have to struggle for years.

If you want to grow in your life then there's a lot of opportunities and specially for freshers. You won't get such type of benefits in another company. I'd been there for 1.7 year and if I get a chance to go back again there i would definitely go there. In current company work is boring and I miss Genpact work that was quite interesting and has a lot to learn.

Dislikes

Criteria sets high but still work was very interesting and I still miss that.

Likes

Work life balance is on top and work culture is also too good.

Dislikes

Salary hike and promotion is the worst thing in genpact. There is no such criteria for promotion and very poor salary hike on yearly basis.
