Genpact Calling! But Is It the Right Move for a CMA?
I’m a qualified CMA with 2 years of experience (though not in a big company). After clearing CMA, I recently got an offer from Genpact as a Process Developer (R2R) with a package of 5.5 LPA.
The role includes SAP exposure, which is a good thing. But it’s a BPO setup and works on a shared service model. Also, I’ve had a career gap of 1.5 years since I left my last job in 2023.
Now I’m confused –
Should I join Genpact and get back into the game, or wait and keep looking for better roles in core/domestic companies?
Honestly, waiting and job hunting is getting tough. Should I take this up and continue searching, or wait a bit more?

Dislikes: The increments and salary in general is very low and not as per industry standards. The company policy itself fosters micro-management even if the managers do not want to.

Dislikes: Genpact being a service based company, it doesn't allow you to work from home that much. And the changes in shift timing constantly becomes a hassle.
