I feel personally all the companies started to established there brands and with the help of giving employment with ethics for long run.

Havells started with dealer channel which get directly supplied from the company. Here teammates are average in nature but few plays cheap politics for self growth, as a product head few get established brands and there Life will be easy & smooth at both the places like dealers & the Boss, coming to training part all have got appointed with experience not much of training required, job security and career growth is average again it depends on your product which you are handling and much with the relationship you have with your boss branch head. Salary & appraisal will be calculated based on your KRA but largely again it depends on your relationship with your boss branch heads.

As the company depends & focus on product sales dependency is very high on frontline and the product head for that we need to travel extensively and need to maintain very close relationship with the dealers as the competition is very high there is high & easy chance of competition entering into the counter.

Politics has become very common in all the organisation but coming to sales & marketing we see very cheap politics bosses love to play cheap games between the employee and the lazy guys who doesn't want to work plays show off work by gaining soft corner. You have Learning chance for all but people who take it positively​ have scope otherwise the job is monotonous, we have office in all the HQ but very compact for having 20 odd divisions. All companies continue to grow with the innovation I rate Havells at average, for sale guys work life balance is very difficult, we have leave to avail but due to target pressure we cant avail.



Dislikes

Company is good but unnecessary hierarchy structure for example if a Product Head is based out of Hyderabad incharge of Telangana he reports to Division Head, Branch Head and the National Product Head only for Sales, and Sales. Company has good name in the market but got diluted in south India.

Incharge Reo switches non moduler, entry level modular and accessories, highly challenging as the product is having very stiff​ competition from local players and the division is not known in the market. My team & myself need to slog & beg for the prod

They required only policy followers. Sr Management do not have vision only talk about big think in terms of targets, they required those only follow the rules. No power in Jr Management's hands till BM, Appraisal will good if you are in good books of BM or RH. No value of your sentiments, purely LALA ji company from inside. EGO problem in Sr Managements, Even ED can have EGO from a PH or Executive level person, its very tough to keep happy. When you give some good ideas to your boss He will always demoralize you but after some time You realize the same ideas can use by your boss and make his own numbers. No credit of your best efforts no loyalty. Company demand only your loyalty, unnecessary work pressure always on your head. your boss don't have road map of that work which he given to you. you will get always stupid answers from management, Company select always in Sr Management of those, those are failure in other companies or sacked by them but good in communications( Bolbachan).

Dislikes

Shut all the doors (Ears, Eyes and Lips) of Sr managements. One way traffic always, only CMD will talk and other will be listeners and seers only. No reputation of employee in the market, even they can be brand leader, but you find always employee begging for sales in the market. No Job security even after 20 years JOB in the organisation.

It is not a good company to work, marawadi culture company. Its Fan, Wire division, Geyser is doing somewhat good business, rest all failed. Product quality, design is poor, company is forcing you to sell these products at premium rate to earn huge profit...!!! If you are unemployed then join otherwise it is spoiling the career....Whatever package, position, ultimately people, dealer should accept the product, then you will servive, but here situation is different., Higher up people are sitting in office and time passing, you have to work like donkey.....Dont join, dont prmote and tell to your friends.....

one word.....dont join. Here HR policy is not good. Nobody tells, informs nothing. Products are not good, it is push products in market, dealers acceptability is not good. many issues in market. company wants only money against poor quality products.....!!! Seniors are enjoing , you will be asked for everything.

You get well paid if youvare from a reputed college and you get valued as an employee. The salaries are consistently on time without fail. There is intermediate - low level work pressure (i consider that a disadvantage too) There is a good reputation of Havells as a brand in the market.

Dislikes

Dearth of technically sound colleagues. Poor company focus on learning and development of the employee. Poor work life balance (all Saturdays are working in plants). No official tours /parties, hence low coordination with colleagues. Adequate amount of non work pressure may be imposed on you.

My major KRA is to eliminate manpower. My responsibilities include preventive and breakdown maintenance of all the installed production machinery, control over layout and machine additives/derivatives.

Worst, incapable and irresponsible HODs, no job security,
No criteria of individual's work analysis, they actually themselves not clear what they want from theri subordinates, nobody takes responsibility of their work specially product heads they are literally good for nothing, they don't have solutions for even a single customer related problem, work on the ethic like if anything done good then it's because of them and if something went wrong they blame to their subordinates. Never seen such a worst work environment ever in my life.

Worst, job insecurity, worst appraisal system, if you have relative at higher position you will get appraisal even in 6 months also without doing work else wait for 3 year or even more no body will bother.

The company never satisfied with good word..the atmosphere is totally bad and political ....the culture is very worst in havells for sales employe...havells branch managment always beleive in donkey types of persons...i have very worst experience of life oin the havells in three years..

I have liked negative group politics by middle management and upper middle even Regional Heads. They are not allowing to grow the competition, for the innovative people. Take the positive side from you and throw you out, if you have stuff and not having the cunningness to spoil your teammate and live by that some time in the company.

Dislikes

Indirect bribe from lowermiddle, upper middle in the form of praying their feet like Anna culture. Otherwise they, ll sack you. Some branches like TN 1 & 2 to my understanding.
