It was going well with HCL but the way HCL people behaved with me many times especially during the last days of my time with HCL just to ruin my career is a worst experience which I have faced during my whole tenure. Pathetic experience in terms of working environment, people behavioral concerns etc. No support from anyone whether its your Seniors or HR or any other Team. In terms of policies and appraisals also its worst to work in HCL. I am very surprised to see that what kind of people especially Seniors we have in HCL who are highly responsible to destroy employee's career very effectively. Not a good company as manipulation of salary towards base salary against which no good retirement benefits i.e. pf, gratuity, leave encashment,etc.

Actually it's a nice company but after the separation and pre separation the situation arise it's not upto the mark.. Acquisition is happen but it's not smooth as compared to others...I would like to join again if they have clarity in the salary structure and position

Company is good. I appreciate the companies policy. The.medicsl facility is really good.

Many old employees they create problems for new employees. Senior management they really do not care anything. Most of them are involved in favourtism groupism and various other corruptions. HCL must do very tight scrutiny on this and it will be helpful for the company to reduce the unnecessary staffing.

High level office politics RM Behaves like He or She is God. If they don't like they mentally tortured you. Call in late evenings for work. Ask to work late night. Not able to think how to manage home and office work. Pressurized to work on weekends. Almost pathetic for me HCLTECH

Personnaly HCL is a turning point for my career since its my first corporate MNC where i learned so many things on corporate culture, and gained very good technical knowledge other than my core field in which i worked earlier. Campus atmosphere is very nice.. in my opinion this is a place where we can devolop our skills and knowledge as per indivigual potential.

Appraisal letter realease duration is what i felt need to be improved along with the increments for the existing employees

Good work life balance. Managers are understanding in nature.

Apprisal process is never transperent and never on time. Annual apprisals closed last may itself but till now revision letters not generated. I recently moved to bench. During bench period, HCL provided laptops pose worst experience. With that laptop, nothing could be done. So many restrictions. Instead HCl could encourage employees to use their personal laptops during bench period, which would help them in upskilling purpose. HCL talks about Generative AI and many such latest concepts. but all such related meterials is blocked....Read More

People are toxic. Not a healthy work environment. Managers, colleagues do not even bother to talk, behave in a professional manner. They over burden you as much as they can. Discussions with manager were useless, simply waste of time.

Hcl gives a much more work, we got many appreciation from claint but hcl didn't give any rewards. We get DP or EP grade in appraisal performance but we got maximum 40000 per year in appraisal, if we ask with HR they said hcl overall growth is low.

Appraisal process is very dramatic and there is no difference with ratings, even if you get top rating it won't make any difference in hikes, salary hikes increments are very poor and low compared to other companies, no proper structure in the organisation we don't even know who is our HR there are so many things that they won't expose. Most of the projects are client location based. Managers do not support their employees for anything.even if client harasses them they keep quiet and else make the employee to adjust. Managers have made work culture toxic. I worked for PepsiCo and the managers in hcl were not at all supportive to their employees.

This is not the good place to work .... Here you can't work from your free mind ... The team lead will demolished you and try to blame you for all the things that you didn't done... And if you will go to higher level than they also support him also without listening you and the correct reason. If you give him the exact proof then also they all will support him instead of you.
