1. Salary & appraisal: They will not increase the salary for more than 2.8-3 years. Fake promises to increase salaries and hike. No extra money for OT also. And also they are deducting variable pays every months without any reason (there is court case against HCL for that, you can read article on internet also). 2. Work life balance: In one word disgusting. We are working from morning 9 to late nights 9:30 average daily even one Saturday and Sundays. 3. Company culture: Fake promises and fake hike news they spread, and even after 2.8 years they are not releasing hike letters. 4. Work satisfaction: No matter how hard you work they will not happy and they will give more work to you. Senior managements are going home after 3:30 / 4:00pm but normal employees have to work till nights. 5. Overall: DONT JOIN THIS COMPANY....Read More

There is nothing to like about this company. No promotions no hikes lots of work pressure. Poor management, work politics, when it comes to project sometimes you won't get projects related to your skill mostly you will be thrown in support works where there will be no growth. Hike will be very less in this company almost like no change every year. No appreciation even if you hardwork for many years but during appraisal your negative points will be shown to you and make you believe you are incapable and doesn't deserve good Hike ,recognition & promotion. First of all I like that Infrastructure. And later Traning for the 3 months and if we get good score then we select for client interview to enter to the project if we are lucky. If not we will be on the Bench no matter how many month or years. Then if we don't get any project within the 1.5 years and still we are in the bench then they will ask us to resign forcefully. And also they will give false statements like you will get the project if you relocate to other state. But some people didn't get any project . And Main thing please forget about hike luckily if you get then that is for only 1-5 between. TOTALY THIS COMPANY IS NOT GOOD FOR FRESHERS, ONLY for experienced people....Read More

Based on project and manager your skills will develop. There so many learning platforms and certification opportunities but they won't allow you in skill full projects

I worked in Cisco projects, there are so many disgusting managers in the Cisco LOB. They won't allow you develop your skills and professional life. you won't get a project which suits your skill set. No hikes have been given for the past 3 years. If we ask, they say, "We'll give a hike next quarter." They don't provide cabs, and There is no scope for skill enhancement or technical upskilling.

Only job security is a pro in HCLTech, unless you are someone with 15-20 years of experience at some management level.

Dislikes

Hardly any projects, only support projects are there. Skill development is poor. Pathetic salary hikes. Appraisal cycle will be postponed without any reason.

They try to fraud you in whatever way possible. They drag everything as long as they can. All bonus, rewards strech easily to 1 year delay and if you resigned in between you are not eligible even if it's their fault in delay. No ethics. No rules.
