The company is open to innovation and readily adopts latest technology.i love the fact that I am a part of team that markets reliable, high quality products and has a global client base.
Compensation is decent but growth is slow.the work pressure is very high.sometimes ,I have to work 14_28 hours straight in a day as I have attend client callsi. The evening and sometimes late itni the night.manager do not value an individual unique strengths, which is why I have to take back my suggestion most of the times.i do receive appreciation emails from my client, but they mostly go unnoticed during my midyear appraisals .also ,there in no on-jobtraining for freshers ,hence senior folks like mehave to guide them step-by-step,which is a pain same times.
Generally speaking,my work is slightly challenging as I have to look after the entire product marketing and distribution life cycles well as manage day to day yield operations.
It is a truly policy driven company and value based company. too. Company gives its employees various opportunity to grow and freedom of work. Huge learning potential from day to day job. Company has mission and vision and company directs its employees toward achievement its goal through these mission and vision. Management is well professional and educated. Company generally recruits employees from the premier institutes may it be engineers or MBAs, you your colleagues are also generally in same level of intelligence and education. Career based training are regularly arranged based one one's need for his/her career growth. Opportunity is there to learn and grow, only thing is that one has to explore what best he /she can extract from his/her learning from day-to-day job. There was strong league of leadership and many excellent leaders are there to lead the people and nurture one's talent. It was great privileged to work under leadership of Mr. Kumar Mangalam Birla
Now I'm working at Hindalco, Belur unit . Currently Hindalco is the biggest Aluminium rolling company in the world. In Hindalco top management always guide Junior people. On time salary and increment is the trade mark of Hindalco. Best work environment I ever work. Good work life balance and sufficient leave through out year. Company always try to develop work knowledge by giving in house and external training. Over all as an employee of Hindalco I'm feel pride to be a part of this Company.
Career growth for non Production department employees still not satisfactory.

For girls ,it's worst nightmare to work. Orthodox cultural, even colleagues do eveteasing. U will be judge by everyone in office . No outside life.no career growth as u r a girl. No latest technology , software to work. Like is slow, nothing much to do, in one two years u will be in depression. I don't recommend anyone working in this firm.
I don't have much good memories with this company. Only individuals I met who were good.
Excellent infrastructures & Organisation, finance, excellent management, good governance, productivity, delegation of financial/ administrative powers to President HINDALCO INDUSTRIES Ltd Renukoot. free hand to work for Security Departnent, respect to work, good work culture, recognition to work.
Indian officers are not served non-veg food in officers mess where as British officers were served non-profitveg veg food.
