Nothing much - culture is observed to be toxic - and seniors at CTO and great positions in Pune speak words which are not professional. Also everyone is free all the time and just sees what other is doing --- like traditional Indian serials . HSBC is making profits but Indian employees are like a vomit. Please don't join HSBC in India.

Once you come to company no one will tell you what work is be it any department in HSBC even manager who recruited doesn't care if you have some work or not. Everyone is dominating without much of skill. Grade 4 people don't know about flow charts in ppt - and even work conveyed is with incomplete data. If you are working as data analyst and if you can complete your work from home still others who are engaged with vendors will create a situation that without much of reason you will called at office. They follow agile but depends on which team you are allocated. They have Learning session.

Dislikes

Department make their own rules for Work from Home and return to office. CSR activities are mandatory by your reporting manager for reducing tour grade. Outsource employees working for 5yrs or more maintain dependency and dont share knowledge with permanent employees. This is also service based company only difference is they work only on HSBC Projects.

A true MNC culture with focus on values, work life balance and employee satisfaction. Hybrid mode with 40% WFO. Excellent learning opportunities provided both within the organisation through in-house trainings and through Linkedin Learning access. Really supportive senior management. Overall one of the best places to be.
