The best thing to work with this company being the perfect work culture as a fresher.You will get enough time for learning purposes and different certification courses they offer for free

Salary increment is pretty dull and you will not getting enough opportunities for for growth .It is slow process and depends less on how hard you work

Even Bcom graduates can become software engineers and project managers in IBM. Bcom from Seshadripuram First Grade College and STEM degree(MS) holder from University of Texas at Arlington, USA are paid the same salary. Very huge pay disparity. No equal pay for equal work. Very racist and biased. Managers make false promises of promotions and very gradual pay hike. No meritrocracy. All degrees are the same. Doesnt matter if you worked until 3AM on projects to earn your STEM degree. BE and US STEM degrees are dirt cheap in India. US Management plays favorites....Read More

1. Entire work on few people in project, others will relax and take same salary or in many cases more than you. 2. Less clients and more internal projects which makes promotion delay, unless there is huge dependency you won't get promotion. 3. Nothing as such, it was good company earlier but now.

Dislikes

No good projects in IBM Consulting, all are support projects. If you don't get project with in 2 months, then you are fired(forcefully resignation). Also without PR it's difficult to get project. For everything management will threat to put you in PIP. No salary hike.

The work environment is not good here and the worst things is the senior level people which is not supported anymore, who fire anyone without any solid reason.Ever since I left this company I am in depression.Due to this I could never join any other company again.

Just that my manager was so unprofessional. Micro management was at the highest. Depends on the project and manager you are assigned to. There is no 360 review. If your manager wants to screw you, then he will.

No promotions, no appraisal, lack of communication between the people manager and you. Frequent change of people manager. Very much client centric activities. Bench policy is not good and you will be pressurised to accept whatever projects they are offering you.
