Excellent work life balance. Free Certification s. Rest depend upon your people manager.

No direct intervention by HR for your increment. Everything is in hand of your people manager. The process is also not very transparent. If you are getting billed for a project then your manager will not leave you to go to any other project. No matter, how long your are in that project. They don't care about you growth.

Only friendly to freshers, and promise them that they'll get onsite working opportunities to foregin countries after 2 years of experience. Show them a lot of dreams.

Very bad job security. I mean, THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO JOB SECURITY AT ALL. And what's even worse, there is a strict anti-moonlighting policy at IBM, you can NOT have your monetized YouTube channel or even create your own website if you like, because IBM says that "you have to be faithful", like what if you suddenly fire us and we have no other income source. They want you to be penniless, and act as if it's your fault. Very toxic And what's even worse, they don't even have much projects. They will only give you skills that they decide. And will put you in running projects who don't even bother you to give KTs or any training of any sort, and will grade you as a "low performer", like seriously??? Promotions do not happen to those who work in support roles / non client facing roles, they are left to rot in same work even for 8- 10 years without any promotion whatsoever and salary hike is less than 2% and drastically less than market driven rates of similar IT competitors

Moving from one project to another is not seamless and is challenging if bench time is more as getting new role in the project of one's choice is also very challenging.
