You can upskill yourself but cannot be used in experience as there won't be any chance for you to get a project of your desire. Salary benefits and hikes are minimal. Forget about promotions, you can be in the same position even during your retirement. IBM is managed by managers and managers are managed by their loyal puppets.

Excellent work life balance. Free Certification s. Rest depend upon your people manager.

No direct intervention by HR for your increment. Everything is in hand of your people manager. The process is also not very transparent. If you are getting billed for a project then your manager will not leave you to go to any other project. No matter, how long your are in that project. They don't care about you growth.

Very bad job security. I mean, THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO JOB SECURITY AT ALL. And what's even worse, there is a strict anti-moonlighting policy at IBM, you can NOT have your monetized YouTube channel or even create your own website if you like, because IBM says that "you have to be faithful", like what if you suddenly fire us and we have no other income source. They want you to be penniless, and act as if it's your fault. Very toxic And what's even worse, they don't even have much projects. They will only give you skills that they decide. And will put you in running projects who don't even bother you to give KTs or any training of any sort, and will grade you as a "low performer", like seriously???
