Very good Bank and very good work life balance in in this industry.

Dislikes

1st is bank has no annual performance rating policy and for that senior management decide RMG policy and employee transfer far away from his home town like out of state. Not good at all. So require Rating policy as per employee performance. 2nd is too much concall is dificult to work and senior management humiliation in concall is very bad in culture. I hope it will rectify the bank.

Thank God for centralized appraisals, otherwise one wouldn't get a dime! The company culture is deteriorating with every passing minute. You won't get to learn new things unless the hierarchy sees their own benefit in it. Favourism and partiality goes hand in hand and at a peak level.

Dislikes

Salary is not meeting the inflation and that to be in a big city like hyderabad. There is no connection between the post of deputy manager and the role in bank.

There is gang of people working in ICICI Bank who are destroying careers of innocent people. ZHBC and RHBB of my region actually formed cartel to remove some innocent employees out of the system. If they dislike someone then by using HR they are giving transfer to such locations where employees cannot go or compeling employees to resign. Being a Credit Manager I was expecting a high ticket size cases considering my vintage of 3.5 years but some RHS and RH of business team were giving instructions not to allot cases to me and credit team of my region following it blindly in the name of 'One bank one team' policy. I have already left the job but some of my ex team members are under tremendous pressure considering my example. Systematically they try to demean you and finally they make you to resign. Another concern there was initially when I joined the bank everything was going good and when we are required to work on holiday or second or fourth Saturday we were getting a comp off but when new ZHBC joined the Zone he denied it. Though I worked for some days but avoided it somehow if I had some another work to do. Everyone had different opinion about it but I thought we should get a comp off. I also shared this concern to my superiors that we can work on it on some exceptions but not in every month but their response was not expected to the HR policies. Another thing was I was doing my work according to companies policies but business team was expecting to ignore some things but when I asked them to give it on mail then they were denying. I love to works always in this organisation but Management should think of it that employee who working in bottom or middle is also human instead of machines. Company Culture like Unsupportive while employee need transfer due to health challenges. Work culture like few seniors have created atmosphere as they managing work place as they are working in Lala Company instead of one of big and reputable corporate. Pathetic thoughts or norms of the company that I have seen first time in last 16 years of experience that they have mind set to make employee in discomfort and purposely gives long distance work place from their residences.. my personal experience with icici that I was travelling 53 Km daily one side to do work and after that after reached to my place I need to work on field being Sales Manager. Unrealistic demands from sales team without having proper preparation and incomplete products features over and above competition with best player in market is all about useless trial that seniors are doing. Suggestion: Need Proper management to drive this big and reputed corporate of India. Specially seniors should also respects to teams who works with company and giving 90 percent of their times to his work place only. Here on Top it’s showing that my name will be hide while submitting this feedback but I have no issues if my name and details shows and even i want to let them those employees either HR or Seniors that recently promoted person and leave the job.
