I was campus placed, so luckily I got 16 CTC ( 75k in hand) rest they kept in performance bonus and which they generally hesitate to give.

Dislikes

Depends on team, my team was horrible, was under a cunning manager who climbed the corporate ladder by doing office politics and doing "chatukarita" . The work culture in the data science department is terrible. No respect for the efforts, no work life balance, the HR policies are horrible, if you consider yourself a talented and ambitious person, ICICI Bank is not a right place for you. Along with work, you should also have to be good politician too. Overall work culture and worklife balance is too good and it also depnds on your bosss but this is very good organisation for long term as well

Salary is not too good and promotion system is too bad someone may get promoted every year and some one may get promotion after 4 5 years or long so promotion part is not good if you are not CA

Work life balance large lot depends on your team and team lead. Job security and steady pay. Company culture is still hierarchical but slowly changing. Work satisfaction depends on team again. Product teams are better for learning and growth

No merit based promotion or appraisals. Limited scope for team change recently. Management has tunnel vision and execute the lead’s vision without room for questioning

Dislikes

Thank God for centralized appraisals, otherwise one wouldn't get a dime! The company culture is deteriorating with every passing minute. You won't get to learn new things unless the hierarchy sees their own benefit in it. Favourism and partiality goes hand in hand and at a peak level.

Work culture giving extra works with the name of upgrade with same salary , growth in salary wise and promotion wise it's very slow growth and there is no any incentive when making any service plus so no value for your work
