Excellent Chairman with great understanding of the scenario at SET. Good Infrastructure. Good dedicate HR Team, their job training for freshers is really good. I also like the employee re-hire policy.

Dislikes

Compensation is really good for deserving candidates, but leadership is very very poor. Work pressure is severely high. Load distribution is uneven, people with real passion for work will be loaded too high. Top level authorities @ SET do not value an individuals' unique strength, which is why i have to take back my suggestions most of the times. The HR team/Chairman work really hard to compensate the pit falls, however the authorities concerned in the work environment fool around.

Work

Generally speaking, my work was slightly challenging with too many responsibilities. All the travel involved gets a little hectic sometimes, but it's OK. As long as certain officials(a gang) are going to be removed, it's difficult to work.

Good team mates. Generally, all staff are nice and friendly, probably because they are sailing in the same boat

Dislikes

Too much paper work. Over burdened with multiple official work. Engineering staff have to travel more than 50 kms one way and are out of their homes for more than 12 hours a day. But still they are expected to do all work, academic, non-academic, research, bureaucratic paper work, look after student admission, student placements etc etc etc. Inspite of all the overload of work, no recognition, but blame is put on the staff for minor delays, even failure of students. Chairman only boasts about himself believing himself to be master of all, and expects everyone to follow the way he leads his life.

Work

Work is good, but people get motivation to do that extra, when their work is recognised, when there is flexibility, both in time, and in the way of doing it. This is lacking in Jain
