Seniors have open door policy.... Hence lot of comfort to interact Management is always keen to find ways of new learning and growrh for teachers. Very progressive thought process

Dislikes

Needs more alignment in annual calendar. But I guess all schools are nowadays managing multiple boards and activities and assessment. So it is inevitable

The only thing that I liked about JBCN is the initial offer and care that you get in the initial few days.

Dislikes

I felt the organisation lacks proper ethics in maintaining staff. You will always have an insecure feeling as they have the practice of terminating staff at anytime irrespective of the positions that you hold. Even the job security of Principal's is also too low.

Work life balance can go for a toss as the expectations at work are high which could adversely affect your health and home front. The school has a mega event lined up almost every month and in the middle of rehearsals, auditions, etc the teachers are expected to finish their portions on time, prepare practice worksheets, exam papers(getting approvals from respective HOD's for Semester papers) and children also give their exams in the midst of all this madness. Many a times children are participating for Inter School events in the middle of their exams and so on those days are expected to arrive in school earlier in the morning so they can give their exams and then be taken to the competition venue to represent JBCN which means teachers taking them need to report early to conduct the exam, hand over the paper to some reliable person in school and proceed with the children. A good place if you are unmarried and don't have too much to handle on the home front....Read More

Very positive and progressive school. Friendly staff. Not much politics. No status barrier between coordinators and teachers.

Dislikes

80% childminding 20% teaching. Very low pay. Terrible and inefficient processes for exams. Too many tests.

Very hectic. You're expected to be on duty every second, minding some group or the other. They insist on you working many Saturdays and even Sundays, sometimes.
