Before I write down anything let me clear my perspective. My reviews is completely based on my role in Operation Risk Management profile and it might differ from others. Work life balance is just what we need. No need to set your expectations low. They promote family time, activities for mental strength, there us flexibility in worktimings, no micro management in terms of log in, log out and working hours. The appraisal is another factor which is very motivating. It is actually above industry standards but the best thing about it is that it’s consistent. During covid aa well they paid the fair share, when its peers did not paid more than 5% JP was giving more than 10%. Next is about the work culture. As it spans through various countries your colleagues might be from different countries and thus you get to learn a lot about how different culture work. My manager is in New York, US and I am baaed out in Mumbai, India but still there are virtuL programs as well. The learning ability which JP provides is immense. They constantly motivates you to upskill in your career. They have their own learning portal which provides you access all the learning from tech, finance, AI, machine learning etc....Read More

Its very difficult to leave the organisation as it makes you more comfortable and thus thats the only thing which I hate. If you get use to the environment you would never think to grow in terms of compensation.

Except new managers hired from other companies rather than giving promotions to their own people everything is good

Dislikes

New managers and new team leaders in Bangalore site with pathetic team efforts. Where managers are caught in indecent acts and fired and rehired after one month but still in office. Ignoring it all that the American clients are not notified. And when raised voice. You will be fired or mentally tortured in office by managers in claims EMM and DR department in tower C of 7th floor. People are suffering the wrong management introduced newly. Please take a survey from them about the previous management and new management. Biggest cheats of this place are manager Ruben Powell, and team leader Nitya Roseleen. Who abuse each other behind each other and act like best friends infront of people and doing all the unethical activities including harassing the employees and scaring them and showing hand signs as a threat. When ER was involved and all the propfs were provided including the camera positions. The leaders were just told about it. And then the employees were targeted after that....Read More

Work life balance is not good, because of too much workload you won't be able to log off till midnight some time it can extend by 1.5 - 2 hrs after midnight, even you login early in morning, if you take leave you may feel like not to take leave because of too much workload

Bureaucratic process in some parts due to many employees being in the same firm since 20+ years with outdated mindset. Legacy systems for the longest time but made decent progress with AI and ML recently. Very difficult to get into if you're an outsider, every role gets around 500+ resumes and the manager just goes through 50-60 of them. Rest are never touched.

One of the worst companies I have ever worked for was JP Morgan. Leadership and other team members make offensive remarks about gender and complexity. When someone takes an unplanned or sick leave, team members often does not react emphatically and don't understand why. What's more surprising is that the leadership encourages this behavior, and if issues are raised, they will ask to ignore them rather than address the problem. It leads to a lack of confidence. Employees will just put in more work even when the leadership is aware that they are dealing with personal issues. I was asked not to take leave while I was coping with the personal loss.
