Lot of perks
Good working environment
Decent salary not too high though
Excellent for freshers
Dislikes
Promotions are very delayed in so e departments only while others customer facing departments get fast promotion without even being asked for.

The benefits are good but you get trapped here.
Don't stay for a long time at this company...Other you will lose your knowledge and then it will be complicated to search outside.
Dislikes
Do not join the Contact Center team, They will never promote you always your manager will downgrade you and this is the team where you will never receive appreciation.
The work culture is good here, flexible working hours, food is not bad, vacation leaves for taking mind of work.
Dislikes
Work pressure, Bad management, earlier the management was good but now a days the people from target have corrupted the management, if you're good at what's called in hindi("chatna") you'll be good, else you'll have to be happy with no growth. Skill development is limited, sometimes feels there's nothing new challenging always the same things comes back to you as work feels monotonous.

Pretty average. Nothing to boast about
Dislikes
1. Work-life balance is good (for Software Engineer, not senior) until daylight saving starts. You will have calls till 8:30 PM or 9 PM. We have mentioned the same to the Director & Sr.Director. Their response is we will take care of it. But, for the last 2-3 years it's the same. Nothing changed. Also, it's an issue for people who use cab facilities as it overlaps with cab time
2. Self-growth is almost zero. There is not much tie-up with MOOC platforms. Only with Pluralsight. Expected to partner with Coursera, Udemy, etc
3. Food is for free (200 wallet points). But, quality & quantity are not that good. The cafeteria is full many days. Have to stand for 5-10 minutes to find a seat
4. No dedicated seat. The expectation is to come to the office for 2 days at least. I am going every day. The seats are on a rotation basis. For our team a few days & for another few days. So, some days there is no dedicated seat. Need to sit at a common table. Another issue is I have a monitor in my seat, So, on those odd days I can't use the monitor
5. For applying for leave, you need to apply in the leave portal, send mail to teams, update in confluence calendar, set OOO in Outlook, and put the same in the timesheet. Too much steps
6. No one encourages associates to learn. Sprint is full of work. Not getting much time to learn
7. Promotion is really hectic here. I am working as a Software engineer. I have more than 5 years of experience. When I ask for it, they tell like I need to have domain knowledge, sometimes they tell me I need to be full stack, and sometimes I am on track. Sometimes the reason is if we give SSE now, after that it's lead position. So, we can't give the SSE position this quickly.
It's not like they are giving a good hike in promotion. It's 10% max. Then also they have these much high standards.
8. Annual rating is only in 3 grades. Below/Meet/Above expectation. So, even if you do work of 4/5. They will still put you in Meet expectations. My self-esteem went down when they put me in 'Meet expectation', but I know I had worked hard to deserve at least 4/5 & I have been put in the same grade where I have seen people in my team who have worked as average in the same grade.
9. No exposure to DevOps as the dedicated team is there to handle it. So, very little exposure there.
10. In every office seat has a drawer cabinet. But, when I asked them to issue one for me. They are saying they don't issue anymore. Are you putting this only for display then?
11. The DB team is there to support the database. They will not help you to find out why a query is taking time or how to tackle it. For questions related to performance optimization
12. HR people don't reply in teams. Need to create a ticket for them. They will reply after 4-5 days. And, close the ticket. You can reopen it. They have the option to close permanently. So, you can't reopen. They do this sometimes. When asked, they say it's the application that is allowing them. Very bad practice
There are many more. Writing this much as of now...Read More
