Pathetic interview experience at Macquarie with 0 professionalism be the HR or the interviewer They had sent incorrect JD and the interviewer were on some other role, absolutely no coordination. It stands out from all the reviews mentioned already online reflecting its poor work culture ! Just assured this with their poor professionalism shown!!

The quality of work at this company is below standard and Job security is not guaranteed regardless of tenure or position I.e HOD. The managers are well connected individuals resulting in negative political environment and mgrs are outdated individuals which can't get job in outside world. Except few individuals which are talented. Joining this organization may leave the impression of wasted time.Staying at extended period can lead to feeling stagnant and unchallenged. Same as above reason. Manish Desai is the one who should be fired but instead of him they fire everyone who had contributed to built the company. People sitting in top management do not have even a single iota of the same. Phillipino and Koreans are in bulk and they promote only those who belong to their DNA. Slow people. Opportunities and promotions given to either employees within closer group of Gurgaon leaders or to female employees to meet diversity targets. External hirings at senior levels from HSBC and prioritizing them for promotions. So let me get this straight. Right now everyone in Macquarie is being recruited from HSBC. So the recruitment itself comes across as fixed before hand with ex-HSBC Senior leadership only hiring their ex-HSBC colleagues, ie their own kith and kin. Same goes for Promotion and Ratings. Macquarie was totally different just 6 years ago, merit used to appreciated but now it's exact opposite. Don't bother applying for this company if you are meritorious, high performer. You need to be from HSBC or a relative of HSBC leadership here....Read More

They do not give any hikes, job security is not there because they lay off employees twice a year. The management is really bad, too much politics and favouritism. The promotions are all based on favoritism and partiality.
