Most of the work is related to defect fixing, product enhancement. Nothing much to learn from technical perspective. Micromanagement(depends on team to team)

Lack of support given to India Employees in terms of development opportunities. Internal Change is for name sake. Indian employees are not given preferences if the positions are outside India. The GCC Content Strategy team led by the Directors and VP's- sitting out of India appears to lack a strong career path with individuals seemingly chosen randomly for positions of authority. It is disheartening to witness highly educated managers with having more past experience are being asked to report individuals who may not posses the same level of experience and education. The unprofessional behavior by certain members of GCC CS&D team in India. It appears the director takes advantage of the position and have been using WFH for her own benefit. The Employee relations and VP/Sr. VP -Management ignores the feedbacks given by team and managers hence there is a question if people should be really giving the true feedbacks? as it leads to personal retaliation (though it is NO Retaliation Policy for Mastercard) and further the marginalization in the organization. It is disheartening to witness the misuse of power by India CS&D Director and CS&D VP who promotes the non deserving candidates and suppress the one who deserves. The complaint raised to Employee relations on India GCC CS&D director making racial remarks were totally ignored which needs to be taken seriously. I am left questioning the effectiveness of HR and management as the CS&D Directors are not adequately assessed. This lack of due diligence in hiring and promotions process raises concerns about overall management practices within company. No work life balance. Leadership cares only about the targets and not employee satisfaction. AI garage need to balance the work well among teams. Politics is negative in the long run. Some random till will take credit for your work. Focusing too much on reasearch will not get the work done automatically.

Work culture here at Mastercard is really superb. All the team mates and managers are really helpful and will provide you the in-depth training. Also the work-life balance is excellent.
