Toxic Culture Pathetic WLB Poor Appraisal No learning as such, if you are coming from tech/ data science field don’t expect lots of learning Lots of manual stuff and old technologies Management are quite adamant to change Any normal graduate can do their work after 30 days of training.They don’t really need qualified engineers to do this type of work Don’t join for the sake of brand name you will be disappointed. This company can give you everything you want in your life. I have seen many people in my company living a very good life because of my company. Everything is neatly driven and you can work on your assigned work and leave for the day. You will get 10l medical insurance for your family (meaning your wife, children only, not parents -which I don't like). You will get home pickup and home drop with ac cabs. They will provide a meal card. You will be paid much better than you think when you do overtime. They will provide housing loan interest subsidies for eligible people. You get 12 CL, 12 EL, 11 ML in total, which is best compared to any other company. In the cafeteria, you will get everything from Boost, Horlicks, cool drinks. Even though there are many good things about the company, salaries have been stagnant for many years. People with higher tenures draw a lower salary. Management can appreciate their loyalty by providing the hike of 40%. Promotion has been a problem. Many people stuck in the same role for many years. Problem is not enough higher role considering huge amount of people. I really like this company a lot for many reasons, but just one thing I want management to work on is providing better salaries for high tenured people. Commodity prices are inflated. You get some opportunities similar to consulting peers to work onsite directly with client but that depends on teams. Research teams do not get those opportunities a lot while M&S, risk, operations, analytics etc. team have abundance of them. Best thing is to stay there for 2-3 years, get good learning, McKinsey tag and 1 promotion. Try for consulting transfer or country transfer during that time else switch to other companies. It offers better work-life balance compared to consulting but that comes at huge cost of compensation....Read More

Do not mistake it for McKinsey. Firstly, your compensation is way below industry peers like Bain Capability center, BCG knowledge center, ATK PAJ etc. You will get a 10-15% performance and hike even if you do as well as consulting peers staffed onsite who gets 20-50% bonus and hikes. Secondly, it is a place full of politics specially when your manager is not serving clients and your team does not do right hiring. Full time manager has plenty of time to interfere in your work and tries to show that he is boss. Most of the time, these managers are people with below average degrees who were hired when McKC started and they do not expel anyone barring disciplinary issues and very poor performance. The mangers can not see you growing faster than they did which you can if you are doing really well and are in good books of manager. And the manager most of the time kills your work satisfaction and amazing experience that McKinsey can provide. It is the major difference between McKinsey, BCC etc. vs McKC other than compensation....Read More

The main thing I love about this company is they strictly follow their values.They adopts latest technology to their own employees as well as clients.The will be on job training for freshers and monthly refreshing training to all employees to understand the complete process.

Work pressure will be very high during month end since we need to close books for each location. Managers will increase targets by conducting time study for each location without knowing the complication the every employees face in their location which will lead to stress.
