The only good thing is free food. Nothing else to like.

Its no more the old Microsoft which was known for cultural and work life balance. Its rotten by the politics and bad culture. Its just a hire and fire company now. Make sure you learn politics before entering in. Best would be to stay away from Microsoft India.

It's a retirement company. Do whatever you want to do in this company, nobody knows anything and hence nobody cares about anything in here. Proper relaxing place.

This place is beyond garbage, people have no idea what they are doing or talking about most of the time, doing wrong analysis of experiment results, random conversations over useless things that do not require much discussion, really dumb place to be frank. And you know what is the cherry on top, its near impossible to correct the dumb folks in this world as they are balloon full of egos mostly. If you are 45+ and not getting a job anywhere else, do join this organisation, and you will feel just at home here. It's not a place for folks trying to do something in their lives. It has enabled hybrid and does not force people to go to office. It has good work life balance.

Dislikes

Promotion is very slow. The hold you in a position for atleast 2 years before promoting. Thus, it does not matter if you work for an initial year or not. They will not promote.
