Since it is a start-up, you will get exposure to different work apart from what you were hired for. Say, cold calling at times. You will get access to a free coffee machine that obviously won't work without coffee beans. I wish I could leave the company culture blank without evening give a single star but sadly, it isn't possible. People in other teams like marketing and SEO are extremely chill.

Welcome to a company, where your official title might be "Junior Something" but your job description will soon read "Master of All Trades". Why? Because here, taking responsibility is as rare as a snowstorm in Delhi. Don't bother asking seniors for help as they are busy perfecting the art of passing the buck. The founder is a true Renaissance man, scoring a solid 3/10 in Sales, Marketing, Tech, and SEO knowledge. His expertise is as detailed as a Wikipedia stub, but his boasting is legendary. He's actually a one man show with a memory that's more selective than a toddler in a vegetable aisle. Case in point: he'll approve a document twice in one day, then vehemently deny ever seeing it when things go south. Pro tip: No approvals, screenshots and carrier pigeons are going to work. Just SHUT yourself UP and act like a corpse. Speaking of unforgettable experiences, brace yourself for a masterclass in public humiliation because that's the only thing he does with perfection. Whether it's a WhatsApp DM or group tirade, the founder's colourful language will leave you speechless. And while empathy isn't his strong suit, you might want to brush up on your passive-aggressive translation skills-apparently, they're quite handy here. If you are here for the pay check, great! The salaries won't be on time, and be prepared to juggle your tasks that aren't in your JD. Negotiation skills are essential, as is a thick skin and an ability to embrace ignorance. Forget about a 9 hour shift; workday is as flexible as a rubber band stretching into your private time with midnight messages and 2 A.M queries. nothing. the office is in absolute shambles. I would never wish it upon any female to have some kind of inconvenience and resort to using the ladies' room here. all in all, it is horrible.

MiM Essay gives off this very gen-z coded culture that is supposed to be laidback and productive, both. However, should you choose to start/continue your profession trajectory here, you would soon find out what a sham the whole thing is. Writers are treated like robots. Really. The kind of pressure that they unleash is unbelievable. Now getting to the important part, the management could use some therapy sessions and workshops on how they should be compassionate and empathetic to their employees who are human beings. Else, they are deceitful and and cunning. When I offered to resign from my position because of a dire family situation (I provided all the documents), my manager acted like this really understanding human being and offered me to work remotely on a pay cut (as if work given remotely is not important enough, but thats another story). I obliged because the department was in dire pressure and I did not want to leave people hanging. However, the real kicker was when my salary was not credited; surprise surprise, it was put on hold due to performance issues! wow! I had asked my manager for updates regarding my salary and why it was not credited on time, something she would ignore very conveniently because she still wanted me to work for the company FOR FREE. if they had an issue with my performance, I would have appreciated transparency; instead, they chose to act with deceit, just like they do with their clients. They wanted my labour and hard work free of cost and delayed the whole salary bit for a WEEK. Career growth is a joke here. There is no room for development. I certainly do not hate how they cancel wfh for entire months without prior notice, crushing your personal time and making you work 14 hour shifts. And I also definitely don't hate how they force you to work Sundays when they feel like you're coming up for air during your drowning (in work) session. There is nothing such to like in Mim essay. Poor Work Environment. You will get Saturday as a half day (Wfh) which is a big joke for sales support team.
